Temperature scanners are not new and have been used in busy areas, such as airports, to detect whether passengers boarding planes have a fever. Chinese company Rocky has now incorporated the technology into glasses it is trying to sell on the US market.

The T1 model has a built-in scanner that detects temperature in 200 people at once, up to three meters away. This means that this device can help medical workers in a very short time to see those who show symptoms of coronavirus infection.
